Improve Your GPA and Have More Time to Play

Sound impossible? Well, it's not. It all depends on how well you use your mind. If you abuse your mind and squander your mental resources, you will suffer. So will your GPA. However, taking good care of your mind (and taking the time to train it) will pay off in many ways. And, that training will keep paying off all your life.

"Improve your GPA and Have More Time to Play" is a one hour presentation by Eduardo for college and university audiences. It is followed by a 30-minute question and answer session. The talk sets forth the basics of learning and practicing the art of quieting and focusing the noisy conscious mind. Eduardo presents many examples of how that skill can be applied in daily life.

During this talk you will have the opportunity to learn:

  • How to have better mental focus; the art of using "mental wind sprints."
  • How to turn down the noise level in your mind.
  • How to avoid internalizing stress.
  • How to keep your wits and think on your feet.
  • How to stay calm and centered under fire.
  • How to "synthesize" creativity using otherwise inaccessible parts of your mind.
  • The magic of deep, restful sleep.

An outline with basic instructions for practicing techniques of quiescing the conscious mind is available to all attendees free of charge. Eduardo's fee for this talk regardless of audience size is $850. Travel and lodging expenses apply where necessary.

The Power of a Quiet Mind

This is another in a series of talks focused on the potential power and resources that can be gained from a practice of Conscious Quiescence. Audiences for this discourse include academic, corporate, and non-profit organizations. This material is interesting to people who are already following a practice of quieting the mind, as well as those who are interested but have no experience. No prerequisites or prior studies are necessary.

The basic premises of Conscious Quiescence are presented more succinctly than in other talks, but thoroughly enough to provide a short introduction for beginners and a useful review for others. The chief focus of this discourse deals with the landscape the more advanced practioner can expect to find in the deeper reaches of her mind as a result of ongoing inner development. Following are some of the resources and powers to be discussed:

  • Using the mind to insulate yourself from pain and discomfort.
  • Recognizing and exploiting your own hypnagogic state.
  • Accessing knowledge only available via the non-conscious mind.
  • Programming deeper parts of the mind to work for you, not against you.
  • The nature of primordial knowledge; some ways to recognize it.
  • Disciplining the conscious mind to focus on higher achievement.
  • Receiving and using wisdom; how to become "wise" above mere knowledge.
  • Developing and using your so-called sixth sense, which actually may be several senses.
  • Using all your senses to understand and deal with people better.

This is a 45-minute talk with a 45-minute Q&A period to deal with the wide variety of questions that are usually asked about this topic. A free handout is available synopsizing the subject matter covered and setting forth instructions and suggestions for a more focused practice of Conscious Quiescence and other avenues of inner development. This talk may be scheduled immediately for dates beginning September 2010. Eduardo's fee for this presentation is $1200. Normal travel and lodging expenses may apply.
