Poetry and Art

Much of the spiritual knowledge that Students and Masters receive can not
be expressed in human language. However, just as an artist creates images and likenesses with a
brush that carry thought, feeling, and knowledge, so too can the Seeker use
words to create images of what has been experienced and what has been learned. We are indebted to Del Siler for his brush-and-ink drawings on this web. Below is his drawing, "The Master Serves His Student" inspired by
a scene in Eduardo's audiobook, The Joy of Enlightenment.

| Quality of Meditation:
Indescribable gentleness.
My heart welcomes Oneness.
Steel-hard precision.
My awareness acknowledges
the attachments of my mind.
Freedom comes like a breeze
or a storm with each breath.
The Teacher can say
nothing that is right.
For anything said or thought
is intrinsically wrong.
Unless it is said or thought
while seen as wrong.
Meditating together, we create a field
to take home into aloneness with all.
