You may or may not believe there is a god. But, in either case, you want to know the truth no matter what direction the truth may take you. Thus, most of us began our own journies as philosophical agnostics or atheists. However, our members differ from most non-believers in that they aren't merely waiting for the truth, they are actively seeking it by pursuing inner development.

The Inner Source of every human being contains intrinsic spiritual knowledge which includes a mechanism for receiving knowledge directly from our Universal Spirit, an entity we may choose to call "God."

One of the most important activities of inner development can be described simply as sitting alone in a quiet place, practicing certain techniques of body and mind control. We know from knowledge and experience passed down through thousands of years that inner development leads to spiritual discovery, inner peace, and an inextinguishable joy of life.
